DENVER, COLORADO – July 5, 2025 – Air traffic over Denver International Airport came to a standstill last night after a glowing, triangular-shaped unidentified flying object (UFO) was spotted hovering at high altitude — triggering an immediate response from the U.S. military.
At approximately 10:16 PM local time, multiple commercial pilots reported a “metallic craft with pulsing lights” floating motionless above controlled airspace. According to flight tower recordings, the object “did not respond to radio hails” and “vanished from radar” moments before two F-22 fighter jets arrived on scene.
“I looked up and saw something unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed,” said local resident Tyler Brooks, who captured part of the event on video.
“It was silent, not blinking like a plane, and it just stood there in the sky. Then suddenly—it was gone.”
NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) later confirmed the object’s presence, stating:
“Anomalous aerial activity was detected. Our aircraft were unable to visually or electronically track the object after initial contact.”
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) temporarily grounded flights into and out of Denver for nearly 40 minutes, citing “airspace safety concerns.”

The Pentagon declined to comment on whether the object is being investigated under its All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
