Bills suffer major setback with LB ankle injury – Medical report..

Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard required medical attention on the field during a recent game,

marking the second time he sought assistance that afternoon.

The incident occurred while the Bills faced the Tennessee Titans, who were trailing by seven points and attempting to convert a critical 3rd & 11.

In an effort to break through the defensive line, Bernard was brought down awkwardly and appeared to injure his ankle.

After being assessed, Bernard managed to leave the field on his own. Once he returned from the medical tent

, he was observed doing some light jogging on the sidelines, as the Bills announced he was questionable to continue due to his ankle issue.

Unfortunately, following a subsequent scoring play by the Bills, the defense took the field without him.

Shortly thereafter, the team confirmed that Bernard had been officially ruled out for the remainder of the game, and he was seen walking slowly towards the locker room.

Earlier in the game, Bernard had already faced medical scrutiny for a head injury.

He was evaluated after getting caught up in a pile during a loose-ball scramble.

Following a brief stay in the medical tent during the second quarter, he was cleared to re-enter the game.

Before leaving due to the ankle injury, Bernard was having a standout performance, leading the Bills’ defense with six solo tackles and two assists.

His absence could have significant implications for the team’s defensive strategy moving forward, especially given his pivotal role.

As the Bills prepare for upcoming games, fans will be watching closely for updates on Bernard’s condition and how his injury might affect the team’s performance.

The situation underscores the physical toll of the sport and the constant need for teams to adapt in the face of injuries.
