Giants Predicted to Trade 4 Picks for Record-Setting QB

The New York Giants are facing a critical decision regarding their quarterback situation, especially with the No. 3 overall pick in a draft class where only two quarterbacks are projected to go in the first round.

They’ve already started scouting promising prospects, including Cam Ward from Miami, who many believe has the highest potential in this year’s class.

Eisner suggests a bold trade scenario where the Giants would send their top three picks in the 2025 draft—Nos. 3, 34, and 65—along with a second-round pick in 2026 to the Titans in exchange for the No. 1 overall selection. This hefty package would allow the Giants to move just two spots up in the draft, but they would gain a quarterback with immense promise in Ward, who will be 23 years old by Week 1 of the next NFL season.

While the trade package is steep, many believe it could be worth it for a potential franchise quarterback.

Ward’s journey to this point has been anything but typical. While he wasn’t initially seen as a first-round talent, his performance this season has been remarkable. He had a standout year at Miami, finishing fourth in Heisman voting after passing for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions. His career also includes impressive achievements, such as becoming the all-time leader in Division I football with 158 career touchdown passes over five years. His late surge has earned him a spot as one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the 2025 draft.

Although Ward’s development wasn’t as rapid as some might expect, his story mirrors the success of other rookie quarterbacks, such as Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix, both of whom had breakout seasons at 24 years old.
