Montana Grizzlies Add 36 New Players to Their 2025 Football Recruiting Class
On Wednesday morning, Montana Grizzlies head coach Bobby Hauck unveiled the 2025 recruiting class, introducing 36 new players to the football program.
This year’s class includes a balanced mix of talent, with 19 college transfers and 17 high school recruits.
Among them, 20 athletes are focused on defense, while 15 play on offense, and one is listed as an athlete.
The recruits feature a notable strength in the trenches, with 12 players specializing in offensive and defensive line positions.
Among the high school recruits, four are from Montana, adding a touch of local pride to the incoming class.
These players include running back Chase Cook from Red Lodge, offensive lineman Ezra Meyer from Missoula Big Sky, linebacker Bridger Salvevold from Culbertson, and wide receiver Bridger Smith from Kalispell Glacier.
While Montana contributes a handful of athletes, the state with the most representation in this class is Washington, which supplies nine of the 17 high school recruits.
The transfer section of the class stands out with players from major programs, including two from USC.
Senior quarterback Jake Jensen and sophomore defensive end DJ Peevy bring significant experience to the Grizzlies.
Other notable transfers include defensive tackle Braydon Bailey from Utah State, safety Micah Harper from BYU, wide receiver Korbin Hendrix from Arizona State, and tight end Titus Roher from Tennessee.
Notably, one Montana native, Fynn Ridgeway from Whitefish, joins the Grizzlies as a transfer.
After spending the last two seasons at Minnesota State Moorhead, Ridgeway is eager to bring his skills to the Grizzlies’ football team as a redshirt sophomore.
The 2025 recruiting class presents an exciting blend of local and national talent. With a variety of positions represented,
the Grizzlies look to continue their tradition of competitive football by strengthening their roster with these new athletes.
