Princess cruise line updates new passenger policy with immediate effect…

Princess Cruises is gearing up for its most extensive summer Caribbean season yet in 2026, announcing plans to sail to every corner of the beloved island chain.

For the first time, the cruise line will offer itineraries encompassing all Caribbean regions, including popular destinations like the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and Mexico, promising a diverse range of tropical experiences for eager travelers.

To facilitate this ambitious expansion, Princess Cruises will deploy two ships from Florida: the Regal Princess and the Caribbean Princess.

These vessels will operate from two convenient Florida ports, Port Canaveral in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale/Port Everglades, making it easier than ever for vacationers to embark on their Caribbean adventure.

The 2026 summer season will feature over 90 voyages, ensuring ample opportunity to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of the Caribbean.

John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises, highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating that it underscores the company’s commitment to broadening access to their premium cruise experience from a growing number of North American homeports.

With departures now available from both Central and South Florida, Princess aims to provide unparalleled convenience for travelers seeking an iconic “Love Boat” getaway to the Caribbean.

The Caribbean Princess, capable of accommodating over 3,000 guests, will offer both eastern and western Caribbean itineraries, each spanning seven days. For those seeking a more immersive experience, Princess is introducing a 14-day “Caribbean Adventurer” sailing, which seamlessly combines these two regional itineraries.

Meanwhile, the Regal Princess, with space for over 3,500 passengers, will also offer seven-day eastern and western Caribbean voyages, in addition to an eight-day cruise exploring the southern Caribbean, including the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao.

Notably, the southern Caribbean itinerary in April 2026 will feature extended port stays in Aruba and Curaçao, allowing for deeper exploration of these vibrant islands.

Beyond the standard seven and eight-day cruises, Princess is also offering a selection of longer voyages to the southern Caribbean at the beginning and end of the 2026 season.

These include a 13-day Caribbean Princess itinerary from Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral, featuring stops at Princess Cays, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, San Juan, Amber Cove, Grand Turk, and Nassau in April 2026.

Additionally, the Regal Princess will embark on a 14-day journey from Fort Lauderdale to New York in September 2026, calling at Curaçao, Aruba, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, St. Maarten, and San Juan.

With this comprehensive offering, Princess Cruises is poised to deliver an unforgettable Caribbean experience, catering to a wide range of preferences and durations.
