RELEASE: Edmonton Oilers have just announced their 8-game preseason schedule
Before the official start of the NHL season in 2024–25, the Oilers have announced their eight-game preseason schedule, which will be played between Sept. 21 and Oct. 5.
On September 22, Edmonton will play its home opener against the Winnipeg Jets before splitting into two teams to play exhibition tune-ups against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Place and Scotiabank Saddledome the following night. The Oilers will then play the Jets on Sept. 25 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.
The preseason will end with home-and-away games against the Seattle Kraken and Vancouver Canucks, with the Blue & Orange playing at Rogers Place against their Pacific Division rivals. 28 & 30. Five days before their regular-season opener against Winnipeg on Oct. 9 at Rogers Place, Edmonton’s preseason will come to an end at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
