Manchester United could sensationally seize the transfer of Giorgi Mamardashvili to Liverpool, with a bomb report revealing that the Georgian is willing to choose a transfer to Old Trafford, while also naming the player most likely to leave to finance the transfer.
Liverpool is the only club in the top five leagues in Europe that has still signed a player this summer. However, it seemed that it could change in the coming days after the Reds agreed personal terms with Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili last week.
Liverpool’s plan is to sign with the Georgian player this month, although the 23-year-old will not officially join Liverpool until 2025.

Instead, Mamardashvili would be borrowed from Valencia to Bournemouth for the 2024/25 campaign before connecting to Liverpool in 2025.
At that point, Liverpool would then have to make a colossal decision between Alisson Becker – who would be close to turning 33 at that time – and Mamardashvili.
The aim of that fight is to ensure that Mamardashvili gains Premier League experience with the Cherries before taking over as Liverpool’s number one.
Signed players cannot be borrowed to another club in the same league within the same window. As such, Liverpool could not lend Mamardashvili to Bournemouth until the early January window if it officially joined Liverpool this summer.
Work is under way on the transfer rate and the structure of the agreement between Liverpool and Valencia.
It is believed that the Spanish side isined by a tariff of approximately EUR 40 million / GBP 34 million. On the contrary, a recent Mirror update says Liverpool expects to pay no more than £30m with a small amount of attachments.
But of the most striking news in the piece of the mirror is the remarkable claim that Man Utd could kidnap the movement.
Man Utd could land Liverpool’s final blow
The Red Devils describe themselves as having a long-term interest in Mamardashvili. In addition, the report adds: “Sources say the 6-foot-wide goalkeeper is also very open to a move to Old Trafford.”
Man Utd’s starting goalkeeper is Andre Onana who is backed by Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton.
Whether Mamardashvili would replace Onana as the regular launcher from the first day was not clear on the piece.
