Just in! Valencia CF are now looking to make moves for Barcelona midfielder.
Barcelona were without Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez and Ilkay Gundogan for Saturday’s La Liga opening against Valencia, while Pedri was only fit enough for the bench. That left Pablo Torre as the only natural-attack midfielder available for Hansi Flick, but despite this, he played zero minutes in the Mestalla.
Flick chose to use Raphinha centrally, with Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres in the wings. For Torre, this seems to be an indication that he will not be counted this season, making a game over the next seem even more inevitable.
According to Sport, La Liga and Segunda are interested in signing with Torre, and it would not be surprising that Barcelona authorizes a departure before it closes the summer transfer window on June 30.
Torre arrived at Barcelona in the summer of 2022 with a lot of promise, but his chances in the first team have been scarce and distant. It remains to be seen whether it will withdraw definitively, although it could end up being a second loan in two years.
