Crows Announces newly Coaching Director

Exciting Updates from the Adelaide Crows in October

In this latest update from CEO Tim Silvers, we dive into the bustling world of football, where the trade period and a packed AFLW schedule have kept the club on its toes.

The recent activity showcases our commitment to building a competitive team, enhancing our coaching staff, and bolstering our high-performance capabilities.

This off-season has been particularly fruitful for our men’s program. We are thrilled to announce that Murray Davis will be joining us as Coaching Director next month.

Murray, who has spent over a decade with the Brisbane Lions, brings a wealth of experience and a championship

mindset that will greatly benefit Head Coach Nicksy and the entire coaching team.

Kudos to our list management and recruitment teams for their impressive work during the trade period.

They secured three exceptional players: Alex Neal-Bullen, a seasoned premiership player from Melbourne, and Giants teammates Isaac Cumming and James Peatling, who will inject speed and finesse into our midfield and defensive strategies.

Notably, we preserved our first-round draft pick, currently at No. 4, setting us up for a promising future with a robust selection strategy for the upcoming draft.

Meanwhile, our AFLW team is gearing up for the finals with strong momentum.

Currently, a single victory could secure us a finals spot, marking another significant achievement for the team.

Our players have expertly navigated a demanding schedule, and standout performer Ebony Marinoff has truly shone.

Her recent co-captaincy, alongside Sarah Allan, has seen her deliver remarkable performances, including an outstanding game where she amassed 41 disposals and 17 tackles against GWS.

Reflecting on the past season during the recent Club Champion evening, we celebrated remarkable individual achievements.

A special mention goes to Ben Keays and Jordan Dawson for sharing the Malcolm Blight Medal, along with Reilly O’Brien,

who won the Crows Foundation Award and earned national recognition for his community service through resilience training programs for students.

As the season transitions, we also bid farewell to some valued players: Ned McHenry, Elliott Himmelberg, Lachlan Gollant, Will Hamill, and Patrick Parnell.

We thank them for their contributions and wish them success in their future endeavors. Additionally, we invite our members to participate in the Member

Engagement Panel, an opportunity to provide feedback to the Board and help shape the club’s future direction. Applications are now open, and we encourage you to get involved.

Thank you for your unwavering support as we continue this exciting journey together.
